is there some kind of bus that will take me to vegas from stockton, ca?
or a train of some sort, their flights are adding on way too much, ridiculous. A 29 dollar ticket turned into 100, which is still good I guess it just upsets me

Boomerang Tours ( http://www.boomerangtours.net/ ) serves both cities, but there service is meant from someone starting in CA and going round-trip to Vegas; I am not sure if they will let you start in Vegas. Greyhound has several buses each day; Orange Belt Stages has one bus each day (buses on both lines are listed at http://www.greyhound.com/home/ticketcenter/en/Step1.asp if you enter the cities and states correctly). Travel time is 13-17 hours, depending on what time of day you travel. Amtrak has a service where you take a bus from Las Vegas to Bakersfield and then a train from Bakersfield to Stockton. It takes less time than the Greyhound or Orange Belt bus, but it only runs once each day.
